Creativity in the Psychoanalytic Process and in Lifelong Learning

23-25 November 2017

Canterbury Christ Church University is delighted to invite you to attend the 4th International Conferences on Psychoanalysis and Education. Our theme is: CREATIVITY IN THE PSYCHOANALYTIC PROCESS AND IN LIFELONG LEARNING. The conference shall explore psychoanalytic understandings and applications of creative practice within the context of learning throughout the lifespan.

Through a diverse series of papers, performances, film screenings and workshops we shall consider the role the creative arts within contexts as wide-ranging as formal educational settings from the early years to higher education, professional pedagogic practice, clinical work within mental health and social work settings, and how humans learn to negotiate gender, work, life and death in an ever-changing social and political climate.

The presentations will be of interest to art therapists, artists in health, other professionals, students and academics. They could also be helpful for people who may already use arts in their work and wish to develop their creative practice.

CCCU students can book at the reduced daily rate of £20.
